Aren’t we taught as kids that we’re beautiful because we feel beautiful and not because someone else says so? You don’t look like the model on the magazine cover but you can still be beautiful, so I can’t say I really want to change anything. I’m happy with the flaws I have. - Jeremy Renner

Can you imagine Fred’s face when he’s in heaven and realizes that Prongs is Harry’s dad?

“THE LITTLE SHIT NEVER TOLD ME THIS.”

Finally a post about Fred’s death that made me genuinely smile^^

Also, Lupin. His goddamn teacher was Mooney the whole time. Oh, and Wormtail was the family rat. So yeah, Harry’s going to get such an earful after he actually dies.

A whole world of ear related humor and you go with earful?

This Is the Most Detailed Image of the Universe Ever Captured
NASA has just published the most detailed view of the Universe ever taken. It’s called the Extreme Deep Field—or XDF for short. It took ten years of Hubble Space Telescope photographs to make it and it shows some the oldest galaxies ever observed by humans, going 13.2 billion years back in time.
It’s a mindblowing, extremely humbling view. Not only for what it shows, but for what it doesn’t show. While this image contains about 5,500 galaxies, it only displays a tiny part of the sky, a ridiculously small slice of the Universe.

The Secrets of the Immortal: Nicholas Flamel by Michael Scott

Imagine mythological creatures living amongst us today.

Now imagine all types of deities and monsters living underneath the 21st century. Michael J. Scott presents to us a full blown mythology fiction based on the Greek gods and goddesses to the Native American spirits. Only not everything is a myth since Scott adds well interpreted historical figures such as Billy the Kid and Niccolo Machiavelli. All these facts and myths are fitted into the puzzle of Sophie and Josh Newman’s week of adventures. \

Sophie and Josh, inseparable siblings find out that the bookshop where Josh works owner and his wife are two powerful immortals that live under the name Nicholas and Perenelle Flamel after a suspicious man with stone gray eyes and his hitmen, or what seems to be men attack the store. John Dee finally retrieves the Codex from his enemies the Flamels, a book compiled with ancient technology an knowledge, an kidnaps Perenelle. However, the last two pages were ripped by Josh rendering Dee unable to use the spell he needs to reconstruct the world in his and his master’s liking.

Nicholas is desperate to stop Dee’s plan and to save his wife. He turns to the twins for help and submerging them into the not so secret world of magic. Sophie and Josh embark on a journey to take the Codex away from Dee and to harness their magical abilities as well. They meet the good and bad; the powerful and the forgotten; the noble and selfish all in the forms of people who you find in any world history text book. They rid themselves of their pre-magic life durin their training but it haunts them. They wonder who-what things they have become with these new powers. They see who is more powerful and more comparisons. They see the dangers they have unconsciously agreed-or was it tricked into?- to bear with this new found life. But one question lingers among both of the twins. Is Nicholas Flamel really to be trusted?

The series is worth the length and not must be read slowly or divided. Too many things happen in one book that you’ll forget most of te details once you read the next. It’s a thriller and keeps you on the tips of your toes. It will leave you hungry for more and more and once you read the last book, it makes you want to chuck the book and ask yourself, “What just happened?” I would like to thank Scott for this thrilling adventure that is The Secrets of the Immortal: Nicholas Flamel.
